Arek Dvornechuck – NY Freelance Graphic Designer

Hello, my name is Arek Dvornechuck and I am the founder of EbaqDesign which is my graphic design studio. I’m a freelance graphic designer living and working from New York. I specialize in logo design, branding, web design and offer design services to businesses of all sizes around the world.

My field of expertise is brand identity (logo) design, web design, print design and branding. Hence, I spend the majority of my time designing and implementing marketing promotions for businesses such as logos, websites, letterhead, business cards and more.

The ultimate goal is to provide my clients with creative services of the highest quality that meet clients’ objectives and sets them up for success. Whether you’re a start-up or an existing business that needs to solve some design problems – I’m here to help you.

I have been honing my skills by working as a freelance graphic designer and full-time graphic designer. I am fascinated by brands and the relationships they build. I have always admired logo designers like Paul Rand, Ivan Chermayeff, Tom Geismar, Milton Glaser, Paula Scher and others.

Simplicity rules. I love simple solutions and clean style. I believe that logo design needs to be simple, memorable and appropriate. In fact, I believe that graphic design is all about what works.

My story as a NY Freelance Graphic Designer

I was intrigued by graphic design since 2008 when I enrolled in my first Adobe Training course back in Poland, Warsaw.  As far back as I remember I always wanted to be a designer.

For me, being a designer was better than being a president of the United States.

I started off by working as a freelance graphic designer taking on remote projects and providing my clients with both print and digital designs as well as web development services. I spent years learning everything I could about my profession, about graphic design and web development.

I have studied and learned from books, tutorials, and training. I attended every graphic design event I could and I found myself totally soaked up in design.

Few years in the making I made a conscious choice to specialize in Brand Identity Design.

I hold a Master of Visual Communication (Graphic Design Major) from The Academy of Fine Arts, Lodz, Poland with Dean’s Recommendation of Honors, and have over 10 years of experience in the field.

In 2016 I moved from Warsaw, Poland to New York, US. Since then I work as a freelance graphic designer consulting business owners as well as branding agencies. I’m focused on brand identity design, logo design and web design.

Experienced in working with top branding agencies

During my career, I have been working not only as a freelance graphic designer, but also as a full-time designer. I was hired at some of the top branding agencies, including Chermayeff & Geismar & Haviv from New York, Brand New Attitude and White Cat Studio from Warsaw, among others. Feel free to check read about my contribution to the redesign of some of the known brands like NationwideDastur, mBank and more.

What’s the job of a freelance graphic designer?

A graphic designer assimilates verbal concepts and gives them form. This “giving form” is a discipline that integrates an enormous amount of knowledge and skill with intuition, creatively applied in different ways as the designer confronts the variables of each new project.

Therefore, a graphic designer must understand semiotics – the processes and relationships inherent in perception and interpretation of meaning through visual and verbal material. He or she must be an expert in the flow of information.

Graphic designer is someone who takes ideas and gives them visual form

So that others can understand them. The designer uses imagery, symbols, type, color, and materials – whether printed or on-screen to present ideas that must be conveyed, and to organize them into a unified experience that is intended to evoke a particular response.

In contrast to other disciplines in the visual arts, graphic design’s purpose is typically defined by a client – it’s a service paid for by a company or other organization – rather than generated from within the designer. This is particularly true, when it comes to freelance graphic designers – since they can’t hide themselves behind a corporate name by changing jobs.

Your goal as a client is to identify the most appropriate talent for your business, your brands, your organization, and your culture. In fact, you need the right skills, for the right challenges, at the right time, for the right value. Internet is unapologetic, so freelancers build reputation for themselves or loose it and scrape for work on fivver.com

A designer that actually know what he’s doing

I’m committed to providing you with long-lasting solutions. I have a multitude of experience, getting my first freelance design job at the age of 16 and since then I learn from the best.

Other designers can make beautiful things

But do they have what it takes to make you succeed? I’m a designer who’s focused and have a problem-solving approach to graphic design.

My life is design, I love it and I surround myself in it every day. I have a deep passion for design that is matched by a desire to find compelling user solutions.

I’m a freelance graphic designer to the core, who is able to:

– work on a variety of brands and products simultaneously.
– think conceptually and have a mind for the development process.
– possess above average concept ideation, presentation, verbal and written communication.

The truth is that people are more likely to buy from you if the quality of what you sell is matched, or surpassed, by the quality of your brand identity. That’s why its so important to have a coherent and cohesive visual identity whether you sell a product or provide with a service.

Working with freelance graphic designers

Choosing the right graphic designer might be crucial for your business. Accordingly, if you wanted your business to succeed you would hire a freelance graphic designer that knows his craft well, who is an expert in his field.

I met so many designers and so many of them are focused mostly on making nice things or impressing their fellow designers rather than staying focused on client’s objectives and creating designs that can work effectively for them.

You need an expert who knows what he’s doing

And you don’t have time to waste and you don’t have money for costly mistakes. Don’t get me wrong – design is an iterative process, but how much money and time can be saved when choosing the right designer? The one who will get you there faster and ultimately for more affordable price.

We all know that in today’s oversaturated world you can’t be truly successful if you don’t distinguish yourself from the competition. You need to stand out from the clutter. You have to differentiate your product or service and navigate the customer to come to you.

An experienced freelance graphic designer will guide you through the process of logo & brand identity design that is proven and that worked it the past. Therefore, when hiring a professional freelancer you have better chances to get it done right at the first time.

Whether you need a logo created from scratch or redesign of your existing brand identity – it has to be done the right way in order to last a long time. Hire a pragmatic freelance graphic designer – It will save you time now and money down the road.

You need a brand identity expert that will provide you with branding expertise and design for your business a compelling user experience. It will facilitate building recognition among your peers and let people make desirable associations for years to come.

Give your business a competitive edge

Ultimately, you want your company to be presented in the best possible way and ensure seamless experience for your customers or businesses that deal with you. Therefore my goal as a designer is to improve yours business’ bottom line by crafting creative solutions that solves your problems and achieve your goals.

Graphic Design is not about what one likes or dislikes – it’s about what works.

That’s exactly what I do on a daily. I am passionate about logo design and I strive for solutions that are simple and intriguing in every detail.
